After graduating in mortuary science, players come to River Fields Funeral Home as apprentices, assisting the mortician with daily embalming work and learning skills for handling and caring for the deceased. One night, players are called in to handle several bodies, only to find that the corpses here are different from usual — and that something has begun to change within themselves as well. The rumors are true: there is no leaving. The game blends funeral-home simulation with horror survival elements. Players must resist demonic forces while carrying out embalming duties, use occult rituals to identify the demonic entity, and gather clues to exorcise it and save themselves. Across multiple playthroughs, the story gradually reveals the past of Rebecca Owens, the horrific history of River Fields Funeral Home, and the evil secrets hidden beneath the surface. Procedural generation makes every playthrough unique; the narrative unfolds over multiple runs, with each exorcism only a fragment of the puzzle. The game lasts more than ten hours and includes 25 Steam achievements, with support for ten languages including Simplified Chinese.
