The Macro-Mines is a roguelike platformer from Under the Lab Soft, an independent studio based in Mexico, released on Steam on August 30, 2026. The game brings classic Minesweeper gameplay into 2D side-scrolling platforming: you explore an abandoned mine made of blocks and mines, and every tile you flip open can yield gems, or trigger a mine and end your run. You jump and dig deeper into the mine, defeat the strange creatures along the way for extra gems, and spend gems at shops on equipment that improves your odds of survival, or save enough to pay the fee that opens the path to the floor above. Even if you do not reach the exit on a given run, your performance unlocks nodes on the skill tree, giving your next expedition stronger starting equipment and abilities. A friendly companion named roBob guards the shops, explains the game mechanics, or keeps you company. The game is single-player and supports English and Latin American Spanish.
