The Invincible is a first-person science-fiction adventure adapted from the novel of the same name by Polish science-fiction writer Stanisław Lem. Players take on the role of astrobiologist Yasna, who crash-lands on the unknown planet Regis III with her crew during a space race; the planned scientific expedition quickly turns into a search-and-rescue operation for the missing crew. Along the way, players help Yasna make difficult choices in a deeply philosophical story that branches into 11 different endings. Players can use retro-futuristic simulation tools such as the telemeter and the tracker, and drive vehicles across the planet's surface. The game features an atompunk art style that creates a distinctive retro-futuristic atmosphere, with a soundtrack composed by Brunon Lubas. The story revolves around humanity's ambition to explore the universe and the cost of doing so, including interactions and choices between humans, robots, and alien organisms. Based on the world of Lem's classic hard science-fiction novel The Invincible, the game explores the limits of human cognition and the complexity of evolution.
