Tarot Gambit is a strategy card game built around tarot. At the start of each round you get a brief look at the deck before it is shuffled, so you can memorize where the damage and death cards sit before the deduction and decision-making begin. Every tarot card has a unique effect, and all 22 cards are distinct, so different deck configurations change which tactics are worth pursuing. The game offers 15 item cards covering tactical dimensions such as scouting, destruction, control, and reversal, and item combinations often decide how a match plays out. Asymmetry is the core mechanic: you have a single life, while the demon opponent can revive repeatedly, so you have to find your winning edge in the information gap between you. In Endless mode, every round starts with a chip bet; run out of chips and you are eliminated, keeping the high-risk, high-reward gamble running throughout. Pixel art gives the game a black-and-white look, and the flickering candlelight in the environment heightens the mystery and tension of each match. The game supports Simplified Chinese, English, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and other languages, and is planned for release on Steam on August 30, 2026.
