About Tabletop Simulator
A physics-based multiplayer tabletop sandbox where you can play, create, and share all kinds of board games in a virtual tabletop environment.
Tabletop Simulator is a tabletop game simulator developed by Berserk Games, released on Steam in 2014. The core idea is to digitize physical board games: players can grab, rotate, shake, and throw objects on a virtual table, with every object colliding and interacting according to the physics engine. The base version includes 15 classic board games — Chess, Poker, Mahjong, Mahjong, Dominoes, Tangram, Fifteen Puzzle, Snakes and Ladders, Chinese Checkers, Jigsaw Puzzles, Backgammon, Card Games, Peg Solitaire, Reversi, and Sandbox mode — plus an RPG kit for building role-playing dungeons. Up to 10 players can play online at the same time, and a hot-seat (local same-screen) mode is available. VR and non-VR users can play together in the same room, with support for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Through the Steam Workshop, players can import custom assets and 3D models, create their own game rules, and use Lua scripts to automate functions. A game master (GM) mode gives full control over the table. Multiplayer includes built-in voice and text chat, plus admin permission tools for managing public rooms. Berserk Games has released DLC content in partnership with developers and publishers, and in hosted games only the host needs to own the DLC for all players to take part. No China server or Chinese version page for the game was found on the TapTap platform.
