For controls, the game offers three control types to suit different skill levels: Classic mode preserves full command inputs for hardcore fighting game fans who value precision and depth; Modern mode simplifies some inputs and enables one-button special moves, lowering the entry barrier while keeping strategic depth; Dynamic mode uses AI to assist automatically based on the situation, ideal for casual play and newcomers learning the system. The DRIVE SYSTEM serves as the core combat system, covering subsystems such as DRIVE Gauge, DRIVE Impact, DRIVE Rush, and DRIVE Parry; the subsystems work together to form a new-generation combat framework for offense, defense, and resource management. Matches also support a real-time automatic commentary feature, with Chinese commentary available as an option or can be turned off in settings. The playable roster totals 18 characters, including series classics such as Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, and Kimberly, covering legendary masters and a new generation of fighters. Each character has unique move design, a distinct fighting style, and a tactical role, along with stylized outfits and customization options.
