A lone stray cat gets lost in a forgotten cyber city and must unravel an ancient mystery to escape and find its way home.
Stray is a third-person cat adventure game developed by the French studio BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive. You play as a stray cat separated from its family, falling into a forgotten neon cyber city. The city is dark and damp: curious robot residents live on the surface, while dangerous creatures lurk underground. You guide the cat through environments of varying heights, weaving between alleys and rooftops and using the cat's nimble, light movements to avoid threats and solve puzzles. Along the way, the cat meets B-12, a small flying drone, and the two travel together, gradually uncovering the city's hidden ancient secrets as they cooperate, ultimately seeking a way out. The game views the world from the cat's perspective and lets you interact with the environment; the pacing leans toward exploration and puzzle-solving, with a cyberpunk and dystopian atmosphere. It first launched on July 19, 2022 for PC (Steam, Epic) and PlayStation platforms, and later came to macOS, Nintendo Switch, and other platforms.
