SMITE 2 is a third-person action MOBA developed by Hi-Rez Studios, built with Unreal Engine 5 and the direct sequel to SMITE. You play as gods from mythologies around the world, using their unique abilities to fight enemy teams on 5v5 battlefields, with the goal of destroying the enemy Titan. The roster draws on Greek, Egyptian, Norse, and other mythologies, and each god has a distinct ability kit and playstyle. The game includes auto-buy and auto-leveling systems to lower the barrier to entry, while keeping the deeper strategic elements of MOBAs such as item building, map control, and team coordination. SMITE 2 supports keyboard and mouse, controller, and Steam Deck, among other input methods, with full cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms. The previous game, SMITE, has more than 40 million total players. SMITE 2 is currently in Early Access, with a free-to-play model that monetizes cosmetic skins.
