Sifu is a kung fu action game developed by the French studio Sloclap. Players take on the role of a young martial artist who, years after his father's murder, returns to his hometown and must defeat the multiple boss enemies entrenched across the city, uncovering a conspiracy and avenging his family. The game's core mechanic is the age and death system: every time the protagonist dies, he revives older, and growing older increases attack power while reducing health; if he grows too old, he dies permanently and must start over. Combat uses a close-quarters fighting style that blends movements from Chinese martial arts such as Wing Chun and Bak Mei, and encourages players to fight outnumbered, defeating enemies through precise blocking, dodging, and combos. The game is available on PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
