The protagonist, R.E.A.C.H., is an artificial intelligence trapped inside a human body. Players explore neon-lit streets and underground laboratories to uncover Phoenix Corporation's true purpose. Side-scrolling platforming, melee combat, and shooting combine through fluid movement and battles across ruined urban and industrial districts. The story examines the definition of humanity through themes including memory transplantation, the trade in human bodies, and the ethics of technology. Hand-drawn pixel art, modern depth and lighting effects, and a synthesizer soundtrack reinforce the cyberpunk atmosphere. REPLACED is a single-player narrative experience. The developer identifies mature content including violent combat, strong language, and references to tobacco and alcohol. It was released in April 2026 for PC through Steam and Xbox platforms.
