Ready or Not is a first-person tactical shooter developed by VOID Interactive. Set in the contemporary United States, it casts players as members of a special police unit entering high-risk, violent situations. Its core design emphasizes tactics: players command AI teammates or cooperate in multiplayer and are encouraged to solve encounters through planning rather than overwhelming firepower. The game includes story missions and cooperative multiplayer. Locations are informed by real-world environments, and players can choose different equipment and tactical approaches for each operation. Ready or Not entered Early Access on Steam in December 2021 and continued to receive updates afterward. VOID Interactive is an independent studio from New Zealand.
