Pitchside Empire is an isometric five-a-side football pitch management game built around phone quotes and haggling. Clients call to book a pitch, and you have to gauge their budget and name a price — quote too high and they go elsewhere; quote too low and the pitch fills up but profit stays thin. Finding the balance between the two is the game's core challenge. Regulars are more generous and haggle less, so getting to know your customers pays off over time. Some clients come back with counteroffers, and whether to accept them is your call. Profits go toward expanding facilities: changing rooms, showers, dining areas, seating, and floodlights. Floodlights unlock prime evening slots and boost revenue significantly. Your pitch turf also needs maintenance and upgrades — a damaged pitch brings bad reviews, bad reviews lower your reputation, and a lower reputation reduces the budget ceiling your clients are willing to spend. Each plot holds up to four pitches; a fifth requires buying new land: the industrial district, the harbor, the lakeside, the downtown arena, and the hilltop campus. Each area attracts a different clientele — industrial shift workers book late-night slots, while lakeside teams pay more. You can hire staff to automate operations: a manager takes calls and closes deals, while cleaners, cooks, groundskeepers, and security guards each affect customer satisfaction. Promote them and you can manage from a distance. From level 10, regional clubs apply to host league matches at your venue; you need to reserve one pitch for one day a week, and you earn hosting fees and ticket revenue. Your own club also takes part in the league standings — the better your pitch conditions, the better your title chances. Other mechanics include on-pitch brawls that affect reputation, customer reviews, and a 30-day history chart tracking cash flow and occupancy. The game supports eight languages — English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese (including AI translation) — and has 16 achievements. It releases on August 31, 2026, for Windows and macOS, and is a single-player offline experience.
