Pax Dei is a massively multiplayer online social sandbox game set in a medieval fantasy world, developed by Mainframe Industries. At the start, players use public crafting stations to make their first tools and equipment, then head into the wild to fight enemies for coins and loot, or trade with other players. By accumulating Grace, players can perform Miracles and apply for Plots to build their own homes. The game world covers roughly 300 square kilometers across five provinces, with forty unique home valleys for players to settle in. In this fully player-driven production economy, clothing, walls, food, weapons, tools, and even mystical reagents are all crafted by players' hands. Players can join Clans to merge plots and build villages or even fortresses together, or team up to take on dungeons and instances. Lyonesse is a contested region with full PvP rules, where death brings consequences. The base game includes two character slots, one plot token, and one month of premium status, with an optional membership subscription service. The Steam store page notes that the game may contain mature content not suitable for all ages.
