About Lying Thieves: Amsterdam
Lying Thieves: Amsterdam is a single-player survival and management game about running an underground crime network in Amsterdam.
Lying Thieves: Amsterdam is a single-player open-world crime management game set in Amsterdam. You play Daniel, a rookie drug dealer who starts with an old private car and a small amount of cash and slowly builds up his own criminal network. The core gameplay loops through three phases: buying goods from suppliers, personally driving the goods back to your stash, and dispatching runners in real time through your phone to complete orders. Every deal forces a trade-off between speed and risk, as you choose between low-key, balanced, or aggressive delivery tactics. As the network grows, sudden problems keep piling up — vehicle breakdowns, customers changing their minds, lost goods, panicking runners — and you can either handle them remotely by phone or drive into the city yourself to sort things out. The game map is modeled on the area around Amsterdam's Singelgracht canal ring, where narrow streets, changing weather, and police attention all directly affect how risky your operations are. With profits you can upgrade your garage, buy better vehicles, and customize paint jobs and rims, turning illegal income into visible status. The pacing is tight, and the game stresses the double pressure of phone-based strategy and street-level action. It is planned for Windows PC and is currently available for wishlisting on its Steam store page.
