lovebyte.exe is a dating sim and visual novel hybrid themed around VTuber culture. Players take on the role of a Discord user interacting with several VTubers and ordinary fans.

lovebyte.exe is a VTuber-themed dating sim set on the Discord platform, currently in Early Access, with the 1.0 release planned for the first quarter of 2027. Players create and customize a Discord profile and interact with six romanceable Discord friends (collectively called "Discord mutuals"), uncovering their true identities — is the other person just an ordinary player who is also a VTuber fan, or the very streamer you support? The game blends simulation and romance adventure elements: players earn currency through minigames such as identifying scam emails and selling VTuber merchandise, then spend it on Superchats or virtual merchandise to decorate their profile and game desktop. The game includes story content voiced by several real VTubers (Equinox, Zeta, Calais, and Ichigo) and supports multiplayer chat and unlockable virtual streaming scenes. As the story progresses, players grow closer to the romanceable characters, reveal their identities through the voice-call "Voice Reveal", and unlock different endings based on their choices. The Early Access version already includes part of the main story up to the second DM day, and the full release will add voiced performance content and the new romanceable character Ichigo.
