iRacing is a professional online racing simulation platform operated by iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, a US company. It runs exclusively on Windows PC and uses a subscription business model. The platform features more than 180 cars covering NASCAR Cup cars, IndyCar, Australian Supercars, IMSA prototypes and GT cars, and Formula 1 machinery, all developed using real team data. On the track side, it holds laser-scan data for more than 150 famous circuits worldwide with millimeter-level accuracy, including legendary venues such as Daytona, Indianapolis, Suzuka, and Imola; some of these tracks have been used by real racing teams for practice. The game uses a license and rating system that groups players by skill level, and it runs more than 80 official series each week, including officially licensed events such as NASCAR, USAC, World of Outlaws, and IMSA, plus full-season championships. The platform includes a dynamic weather system, team endurance racing (up to 24 hours), custom leagues, and community events, and supports VR. The player base exceeds 350,000 worldwide. There is no traditional single-player story or campaign mode; the core gameplay is online multiplayer racing, skill development, and esports.
