Horizon Zero Dawn™ Complete Edition is an action role-playing game developed by Guerrilla Games of the Netherlands and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Set on a future Earth, the game depicts a world where human civilization has long been destroyed, colossal mechanical creatures rule the land, and the surviving humans live in tribes. Players take on the role of Aloy, a young machine hunter exiled from her tribe, raised by a hunter since childhood, with outstanding survival and combat skills. Aloy sets out on a journey to uncover the secrets of an ancient civilization, discover the mystery of her own origins, and prevent the world from falling into a catastrophic disaster. The game blends stealth, shooting, and melee combat; players use weapons such as bows and slingshots along with a skill tree to fight mechanical creatures and hostile factions. The Complete Edition includes the full story expansion The Frozen Wilds, adding a new northern border region, more machine types, side quests, and equipment. The game originally launched on PlayStation 4 in 2017, with a PC version (Steam/Epic) released in 2020; the Complete Edition includes both the base game and the expansion.
