FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster is a role-playing game collection produced by Japanese studio Square Enix, containing HD remasters of two classic titles: FINAL FANTASY X (2001) and its sequel FINAL FANTASY X-2 (2003). FINAL FANTASY X features turn-based combat, with players taking on the role of Tidus, who comes from the otherworld of Zanarkand, and his companions as they journey to defeat the great summon, Sin. The game is known for its cinematic storytelling and a customizable growth system. FINAL FANTASY X-2 continues from the ending of its predecessor, centering on a new job system and an active turn-based battle style. Players control Yuna and two companions as sphere hunters, exploring the world and uncovering the truth. The remaster first launched on PS3 in 2013 and came to PC (Steam) in 2016.
