Fantasy Waifu Collector is a free-to-play casual game centered on collecting and developing anime-style characters. Fantasy Waifu Collector is a free-to-start anime-style character-collection and town-building game made by indie developer SyKoHPaTh and released on Steam. It is set in a world being eroded by monsters and sliding toward ruin. Waking from a deep sleep and guided by the Dragon Goddess, the player finds a gray doll named “Trash-chan” — who has lost her memories — in a pile of junk, and from there sets out on a journey of collecting Waifus, rebuilding the town, and facing the Demon King. The core gameplay revolves around collecting and raising Waifus. Characters are obtained through the gacha system, and each one can be leveled up, trained, and outfitted with custom clothes — from simple T-shirts to heavy armor, mix-and-match to strengthen stats. Town buildings unlock progressively as more characters are collected, opening up more game modes along the way. The built-in “Magic Cat” system can be fed to raise character stats. The game offers a wide range of modes, including online content such as PvE story dungeons, PvP arenas, guild cooperation, and events, plus an offline single-player mode. Its gacha is light-touch, and the developer claims there are no ads, no paywalls, and no pay-to-win. The Steam page notes that AI-generated sound effects are used. The game supports English interface and subtitles, and is currently available for Windows only.
