Etheria: Restart is a hero-collecting RPG featuring characters with special powers, combining multi-character progression, self-contained stage adventure, and real-player versus matches. You play as a Hyperlinker, rallying your unique heroes and forming a Hyperlink squad to take on powerful enemies with tactical combat.

Etheria: Restart is a hero-collecting RPG about characters with special powers. A global freeze-wave swept the world and destroyed its thriving civilization; the survivors gathered in the metropolis of Aiertelis City and founded an organization called the Hyperlinkers. Through a special linking technology, they summon and manage superpowered heroes known as Animus (异格者). As a Hyperlinker, you collect characters with different attributes and skills, build a Hyperlink squad, and explore self-contained stage chapters, gradually uncovering the truth behind the freeze and the crisis lurking beneath it. The core gameplay is turn-based strategic combat: you must study the enemy's traits and your characters' skills to set your lineup and positions. Different heroes have varied attributes, such as fire, water, lightning, and dark, each with unique abilities and tactical roles. Figuring out the best lineup for each stage's enemies and opponents is the main source of strategic depth. Character progression spans multiple tracks, including leveling, equipment enhancement, and skill upgrades. You can raise your power through main-stage rewards and dedicated resource dungeons, unlocking stronger skill combinations and linked effects. Alongside the single-player story stages, the game includes a real-player versus mode with real-time matchmaking. This mode tests how well you understand your characters and how quickly you adapt your tactics mid-battle, as you must read the enemy lineup fast and set your formation accordingly. The game also runs cyclical content such as new seasons and limited-time events, continuously adding new characters, modes, and themed stories to keep the long-term experience fresh. Etheria: Restart is developed and operated by XD Inc. It officially launched on mobile in 2025, and 2026 brings a first-anniversary special version along with several celebration events. The game is currently available as an official download on TapTap, with the Steam PC version on sale at the same time, and it supports Simplified Chinese.
