Declare is a fast-paced two-player card battle game developed by LazyPanda, played with a standard 52-card poker deck. The core mechanics revolve around three keywords: bluff, count, and declare. On each turn you decide whether to play a card or declare immediately. When a round ends, the player with the lowest hand value earns no points, while the player with the highest hand value takes on all the points of both players from that round. To win, you need to keep applying pressure across the match so that the computer opponent is the first to pile up 100 points or more, while you keep your own score relatively low. The game features a smart AI opponent that makes strategic decisions based on the discard pile, the cards you have already played, and the value of its own hand; it is responsive and challenging. Multiple game modes use different rule modifiers to vary every session. The art is handcrafted pixel art: the table backgrounds are decorated with mandala patterns, and the card characters have been redesigned as Indian royal figures. The soundtrack blends jazz with Indian influences, creating a warm yet tense tabletop atmosphere. Declare supports Windows and macOS, and Steam Cloud automatically syncs your scores and statistics.
