Deadline Savior is a game that combines the Pomodoro Technique, to-do lists, and an idle RPG. Players write down their tasks and start a “focus” session, during which their hero automatically explores a fantasy world, gathers resources, fights enemies, and gradually grows stronger. When the focus session ends and the rest phase begins, random events or battle resolutions may be triggered. Each focus cycle moves the story forward — according to an ancient prophecy, the hero will eventually defeat the Dragon of Procrastination, reclaim the goddess’s hourglass, and restore peace to the world. The game has a built-in class system: players can choose characters of different classes, each with unique skills and combat styles, and characters fight automatically based on their equipped gear and skills. There are also task time tracking and daily focus statistics to help players review their productivity and identify their true “procrastination enemies.” The game is currently in early access; the full release is expected to add more classes, collection systems, and Steam achievements.
