Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. Released on November 13, 2020, for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC through Battle.net and Steam, it is set amid covert CIA and KGB operations during the Cold War of the 1980s.

Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War is the sixth entry in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. Set at the height of the Cold War in the 1980s, it follows CIA operatives Alex Mason and Jason Hudson as they pursue the Soviet spy codenamed Perseus and attempt to stop a global conspiracy that could change the course of the conflict. The first-person shooter has three main components: a campaign, competitive multiplayer, and cooperative Zombies. The campaign includes branching choices that affect missions and the ending. Multiplayer offers established modes such as Kill Confirmed and Domination, alongside a Gunsmith system and seasonal battle-pass content. Zombies combines classic maps with new objective mechanics. Period clothing, weapons, equipment, and music evoke the Cold War era. The game contains depictions of wartime violence tied to espionage, armed conflict, and the period's political setting. On PC, it is sold through Battle.net and Steam; players in mainland China must purchase it through the relevant platform.
