Another Shadow is Chapter 6 of the "Hidden Town" series, developed and published by Dark Dome. The game uses dual-perspective storytelling: you switch between two characters, Bastian and Carissa — one trapped in a dark world, the other searching for clues across reality and fragments of memory. Actions in the two worlds affect each other, and you must make the right choices to advance the story. The core gameplay is point-and-click puzzling: you interact with objects and characters in each scene, find hidden items, and use or combine items to solve puzzles and move the detective story forward. The plot revolves around an ancient curse: Bastian has been imprisoned by a shadow, and Carissa must search a haunted old mansion and the characters' memories for clues to uncover the curse's origin and bring him back to the real world. The game is packed with puzzles and hidden items, and fully working through every clue requires exploring both worlds repeatedly. A "Shadow Collection" achievement also hides 9 shadow figures across the series, which you have to search for carefully in unexpected places. The art style stands out, the soundtrack is immersive, and the narrative style is horror-mystery escape. This chapter shares its world and narrative connections with entries such as The Ghost Case, Haunted Laia, and Escape from the Shadows; each chapter can be played independently. The platform is PC (Steam), and as of 2026 there is no official Chinese language support information.
